While brushing too hard or in the improper way can cause recession many times it is just due to a patients anatomy in this region. When there is no gingiva left on the front side of the tooth the tooth can start to lose bone as well. As you can see a simple graft can fix this problem. When you choose a periodontist to place your dental implants you have chosen an expert in this field. For this case we placed dental implants and an additional tissue graft to be sure and mask the gray hue that you can sometimes see in the gum tissue.
