Our concrete guys kicked off spring today with our 1st garage foundation of the year. Perfect weather and perfect mud from Rogers Concrete. It finished nicely!
Our carpenters have been busy all winter. But this week’s weather was a nice change of pace. We knocked out another fine Trex deck today, and dozens more on the books!
Last summer we were hired by Frank and Kristen Bozanek to add a 40’ wide x20’ deep home addition on to the back of their house. We also converted an existing bedroom into an hybrid ADA bathroom. The addition had a full basement below it and the main floor consists of a new master bedroom and another great room. There is a covered patio and we snuck a 16’ wide x 22’ deep garage in the back yard as well. Since the new footprint impacted a lot of the original house’s finishes we went ahead and replaced all the old windows and doors, re-sided everything, and re-roofed everything. The Bozanek’s also added a lot of landscaping and concrete to exterior, upgraded the kitchen countertops, and tied in all new flooring. This was a major transformation. It’s really hard see everything we did in these few pictures.
Here’s a before picture of a house that we were asked to add onto which will turn out to be the largest home addition we’ve ever taken on. We’re currently still under construction, but we should have this monster water tight by the end of next week. I’ve added some current pictures of what we’ve gotten done so far. There will be more to come. But to size this up the new footprint is 28’ x 36’. That is a full basement with 2 stories above it. The 2nd floor will continue over the entire old part of the house as well. That’s about 2800 square feet of new space!
