From a young age at Christmas time everyone in my family looked forward to comparing their season's coquito. It was an indirect competition amongst the women in the family who made the best. Beginning today, San Antonio Water System is opening seven water distribution locations across the city at its pump stations to provide customers with water. Additional sites may be added depending on demand. Customers will be allowed five gallons of water per person. Friday’s hours will be 12 to 6 p.m. After that, the SAWS distribution sites’ operating hours will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day to assist customers still experiencing a loss of water service.
