Divorce causes great upheaval for children. Many times kids are so affected by their parents’ divorce they begin acting out; choosing friends and activities that are simply not good for them and we had a case where this happened. Our client was the father of the children. After the parties’ separated, the kids lived with their mother. It was not a healthy environment for them and their relationship with the father began to go downhill rapidly. One of the kids began skipping school and engaging in other even more harmful activities. We eventually obtained full custody for our client and are very happy to say once the children were removed from this unhealthy environment, it made all the difference in the world. The children overcame their emotional behavioral difficulties, turned their academic careers around and are now going off to college, healthy and happy! This is what we, at Cynthia Tracy, Attorney at Law, P.C. want for all our clients. We strive to help divorced families lay the groundwork to provide a great future for their children.
