The SAR Flag (spoken as S-A-R) was created to Honor and Remember the Veterans and Active Military lost to the Veteran suicide epidemic, as well as honoring their families.

The SAR Flag also stands as a tangible symbol of hope to living Veterans & Active Military to show that we care as a nation, and to know that they are not alone.

Once the SAR Flag is approved by Congress, it will stand as symbol of our nation’s commitment to recognize and remember those Veterans & Active Military who died by suicide as well as work to resolve the suicide epidemic and end Veteran suicide.
