Well, that's all folks! The lights are out at D&J Small Engines, we appreciate the opportunity we had to serve so many people in the Treasure Valley, for over 40 years.
It was a bitter sweet day as so many people came in, or called to say thank you for always being there. But like all other good things come to an end so must we.
Chris & Amanda Whitaker, were the last customers through our doors today, they definitely took advantage of the sale prices. She wanted a gas power trimmer and he wanted the option of stick edger, so a Husqvarna split boom trimmer & edger it was. Thank you guys for your loyalty right to the end.
Dave & Jackie are taking time to breathe it all in and decide their next adventure, Dana is exploring his options, & I am chasing after my passions to continue to serve the people of this great valley. Once again, thank you for all your smiles, stories and jokes, but most of all thank you for letting us be a part of your journey.

I'm a bag of mixed emotions as I created the final post for D&J Small Engines. Excited for new adventures for all of us here, but saddened to experience the end of an era. D&J Small Engines has been a part of the Treasure Valley Small business community for over 40 years.
David Haney has decided it's time to retire and discover new horizons with his beautiful wife of over 40 years, Jackie Haney.
I'm wrapping up my college degree and can freely go in search of my new big adventure, wherever that may be.
All of us are excited for this new path, we appreciate all of our wonderful, loyal customers (friends) who have walked this path with us through the years. We count you as blessings and we are grateful for the opportunity we had to work with you. I know we will miss your beautiful smiles, stories, and jokes.
