Damian Berezovsky, MD, is the director of neuro-ophthalmology and an assistant professor of neurology at Barrow Neurological Institute.
Dr. Berezovsky’s expertise includes the evaluation and treatment of visual problems related to neurological conditions such as optic nerve disorders, pituitary disorders, and neuroinflammatory diseases.
Dr. Berezovsky earned his medical degree from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. He completed his residency in neurology at the University of New Mexico and a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the Emory Eye Center at Emory University.
Dr. Berezovsky’s research has focused on the effects of protein levels in cerebrospinal fluid in people with idiopathic intracranial hypertension and new options for sustained-release drug delivery for retinal diseases.
