Just when the world starts to convince us that we're all angry, fearful and unwilling to work together, this story of hundreds of you that came together to honor these unclaimed veterans reminds me that many of us do want to be honorable and decent humans. Multnomah County friends. Make sure the color of your Property Tax statement matches how your mortgage escrow account is being managed. If you do NOT have an escrow account and you pay your taxes directly, your statement should be GREEN. If you expect that your mortgage servicer is paying your property taxes, your statement should be YELLOW. Contact your servicer immediately if things are not how you expected. 🟨 Yellow paper means another party has requested your bill for payment. If you have a mortgage company, call them before paying.
🟩 Green means you likely have taxes to pay.
