Dandan Li, MD, is a family practitioner with Physicians of Family Medicine in Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Li received her Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating magna cum laude from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Following her undergraduate work, she earned her medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. She completed her internship and residency at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois, serving as the Chief Resident in Family Medicine while there.
Dr. Li is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). She has extensive experience as a primary care physician, with a strong interest in geriatric and women’s health initiatives. In addition, Dr. Li holds certifications in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Dr. Li is actively involved in the American Academy of Family Physicians and regularly volunteers her time in the community. She is the co-founder of a program that provides vaccines and school physicals for at-need youth in Champaign, Illinois. Dr. Li is welcoming new patients and is excited to be in the Richmond community.
