Dandy Day Corporation was founded by Sam and Karen Jenkins in 1979 as a homebased, family business. All of the Dandy Day products contain concentrated Aloe Vera, which in 1979 was a completely new concept for the aloe industry. At the time, Dandy Day Corporation was having other companies manufacture their products, but because of inconsistencies in quality, in 1985 Dandy Day Corporation began to formulate and manufacture their own products.
Historical records document that Aloe Vera has been used to soothe minor burns, cuts, scrapes and stings in various degrees of severity. People have also used it as a home remedy from the top of their head down to their toes. Ingesting it has shown to support normal digestion and bodily functions. In recent history, researchers, clinicians, and medical investigators have been finding an increasing number of valuable uses for the Aloe Vera plant.
