To be an agent or not to be? The real, and essential, meaning of being an agent is to be an advocate, a confidant, a servant-leader. Yes, the big names on Zillow™ and Trulia™ ads, and copious pages of the real estate section in Saturday’s D & C, “close more deals” than the numerous realtors like me. However, we remain the core of real realtors. We see the client, not cash. We view our role not as a career for cash, but a calling. We are about helping dreams come true, listening to clients, treating them like friends. And happily never ever being a closer over your agent.
