Dr. Daniel Lorber MD FACP CDE is Director of the Division of Endocrinology. After graduating from Columbia College and Albert Einstein School of Medicine, he completed the Internal Medicine Residency at Bronx Municipal Hospital followed by the Endocrinology Fellowship at Vanderbilt University. He is Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. His special interests include diabetes and all its healthcare and social aspects. He has held numerous committee positions for a variety of state and national organizations focused on diabetes including the New York Diabetes Association and the American Diabetes Association.
Dr. Lorber is diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in Endocrinology and Metabolism. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and has contributed chapters to textbooks. Since 1986 has been medical director, Diabetes Care and Information Center of New York. He is the associate director of the Lang Center for Research and Education at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens.
