Dr. McCall aims to provide a personalized approach to your orthopedic problems with the goal of restoring your function and quality of life. He does this through a patient-centric approach which is directed at working with you to meet your treatment goals.
Dr. McCall is a hip and knee replacement specialist. He is fellowship trained in hip and knee replacement through the Kaplan Joint Center in Boston. This is a collaborative fellowship between Newton Wellesley and Massachusetts General Hospitals . During this fellowship he received extensive training in primary and revision hip and knee replacement. This included training in the latest techniques in hip and knee replacement including custom implants, minimally invasive surgery, partial and total joint replacement. Prior to fellowship he received his medical training through Michigan State University and then completed a 5 year orthopedic surgery residency at Beaumont Farmington Hills.
Dr. McCall offers a variety of operative and non-operative treatment options. His areas of focus are total knee replacement, partial knee replacement including patellofemoral joint replacement, revision knee replacement, hip replacement and revision hip replacement. In addition Dr. McCall treats a variety of orthopedic problems including fractures and sports injuries.
Dr. McCall is academically involved in the training of residents and medical students including participating in orthopedic research. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, The American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
