If your New Year's Resolution is to eat more BBQ...we've got you covered! 🐖
"I am writing this from our RV that is still parked outside the restaurant! We've been chasing BBQ joints pre and post Covid and this was an unexpected lucky find. What's good? EVERYTHING we had (even as take out, and they have a drive through window).
Ribs - almost fall off the bone and moist with awesome bbq sauce
Brisket - moist and smokey, fatty parts were amazing.
Brisket BBQ Sandwich - It has Brisket and BBQ sauce between soft sweet bread, DUH this was good.
Cole Slaw - cole slaw can really only get so good in books and this is one of the best ones, not too sweet or gooey, more vinegary than most and really balances the meats well.
Fries - Thick cut, good
Sweet potato fries - neither of us actually like sweet potato fries in general but they nailed it with the crinkle cut and maple syrup for dipping. Gobbled up completely.
Total damage $30 pre-tip - coming from SF this is unheard of and magical.
We're not BBQ experts but we have it nearly everywhere we go in the US and this place is with a stop in if you're in Carlsbad."
