UPDATED INFORMATION THAT I HAVE READ REGARDING THE COVID-19 VIRUS.
All this is information has not been validated like so many things regarding this virus as I have read conflicting reports regarding this information but felt there is no harm in sharing it as an FYI.
Update #1
1) If you have a runny nose and sputum, you may have only a COMMOM COLD.
2) A FEVER and DRY COUGH is more of a concern rather than a runny nose.
3) This virus IS NOT heat resistant. It hates warmth including the sun.
4) If someone sneezes, coughs, or breaths it out, it takes about ten feet before it
falls to the ground as it is NO LONGER AIRBORNE.
5) Although uncertain, if on a metal surface it will live for at least 12 hours so if
you come in contact with a metal surface wash your hands ASAP with
BACTERIAL SOAP. (i.e. Doors!)
6) On fabric it can survive for 6-12 hours. Normal laundry detergent will kill it.
7) Drinking WARM water is effective for all viruse so avoid drinking liquids with
ice.
8) Wash your hands frequently as the virus can live on your hands for only 5-10
minutes but a lot can happen during that time like touching your face and so
on during that time.
9) Gargling with salt and water is effective as a prevention.
10) DRINK PLENTY OF WATER to stay hydrated is always beneficial.
11) Generic face masks are more to prevent a person from spreading it to
others rather than it preventing the person from inhaling it.
Update #2
1) The virus will first infect the throat so you will may have a sore throat.
2) The virus then blends into a nasal fluid that then enters the trachea and then
the lungs causing pneumonia five or six days further.
3) With Pneumonia comes a HIGH FEVER and DIFFICULTY with BREATHING.
4) The nasal congestion is not the normal kind. You can feel like your drowning
and IT IS IMPAIRATIVE THAT YOU SEEK IMMEDIATE MEDICAL
ATTENTION!
Update #3
1) This new virus may not show any signs of infection for many days. DO NOT
HESITATE TO BE TESTED if you feel you may have symptoms! By the time
a high fever and/or cough is experienced and you then go to the hospital the
lung is usually fibrotic (Thus the difficult breathing) and at that point may be
VERY SERIOUS.
2) MORNING SELF CHECK (But not proven) Take a deep breath and hold it in
for ten seconds or more. If you are unable to do it without COUGHING or
experiencing DISCOMFOR/STIFFNESS/TIGHTNESS, ETC., you should see
a medical physician to be evaluated. Always self-check in an environment
with CLEAN AIR.
THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO INHALE THE VIRUS!THIS IS WHY SOCIAL DISTANCING IS IMPORTANT. WASHING HANDS BEFORE TOUCHING THE FACIAL AREA PREVENTS THE CHANCE FROM IT BEING INHALED. BEING OUTSIDE AWAY FROM PEOPLE IS PERFECTLY SAFE! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO STAY IN YOUR HOME GET OUT, WALK, AND EXERCISE BUT STAY AWAY FROM OTHER PEOPLE.
I hope this information is helpful and ask that everyone use some common sense and due diligence to prevent this virus from spreading to others. Stay well and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Dr. Blue
POTENTIAL HEALTH ALERT REGARDING COVID-19.
There is a debate whether you should be taking an NSAID (Ibuprofen,Advil, and others) during this Covid-19 pandemic. Some doctors claim there is evidence that the Covid-19 virus has been shown to thrive in those patients who have this stuff in their system.
Some say that NSAIDS can increase the likeliness of getting very ill with a greater degree of developing pneumonia.
They recommend to takle Paracetamol, Acetominophen, or Tylenol if anything.
Whether true or untrue it is good to be informed of this possible risk. Please share this information to those you know so they are informed as well.
I do not have any facts to support this information but it is definately worth sharing to everyone regardless of the validity.
EVERYONE STAY HEALTHY AND MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO REDUCE THE RISK TO YOURSELF AND EVERYONE YOU KNOW SO WE MAY GET THROUGH THIS DIFFICULT TIME AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.

My office remains open during this challenging time. Extreme measures are being taken to eliminate any health conerns for patients while at my office.
1) Patients are being scheduled so there is only one patient allowed at a time in any room. (Patients never see each other.)
2) Patients are required to disinfect hands when entering the office and once again before they leave.

4) Tables are disinfected after each patient.
