Today we were called out to a home with the “AC not keeping up”......my tech gets there and finds the outdoor unit running. The furnace running and indoor blower motor, not running. There are several safeties built into these units....but None of them shut off the heater as designed and the furnace was too hot to touch.
This could have been an extremely bad situation had we not gotten there as fast as we did.
There are many house fires caused by faulty heaters each year. I ask that you get yours checked yearly. If you don’t use my company.....no problem. Just use someone you can trust. I hate hearing every year of preventable house fires and even deaths on the news and from fire fighters I know personally.
