Contrary to popular belief, closing A/C vents in unused rooms of your house is not a recommended way to save money on your heating and cooling bill. Closing vents actually increases the pressure your system has to push against which can potentially lead to leaks in your ductwork, reduced air flow, increased energy consumption, and be detrimental to your heating and cooling equipment. This can also create hot spots within your home. Since there is far less insulation in interior walls as there is in exterior walls, this heat can easily spread to the adjacent rooms.

Today marks a very special day in this country. Today we honor those who served in the nations armed forces. We are looking to hire a HVAC installer to join our team, must have minimum of 3 years of HVAC residential service, must be able to install residential HVAC equipment, including condensing units, evaporator coils and furnaces, must know the basics of putting a system together, pulling a proper vacuum, properly charge a system with correct subcool/superheat.
