September has been officially designated National Peripheral Artery Disease Awareness Month, and prevention is the name of the game.
Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) is a common circulatory problem that features narrowed arteries that restrict blood flow to your limbs. The most common symptom is claudication, which refers to leg pain when walking. To learn more, check out the latest post on PAD in our blog.

September is #NationalCholesterolEducationMonth, which is the perfect time to check in with your doctor about your levels. High levels of LDL or bad cholesterol, is one of the main risk factors for heart disease and stroke which are two leading causes of death in the U.S.
