If you are insured with Allstate, have damage, and need to file a claim, call 1-800-54storm. This will start the process. You should secure your property preventing it, the best you can, from worsening.
If you need to have trees removed from covered structures, do so. If you have holes in your roof or are missing shingles, place a tarp on exposed areas.
Do not discard any damaged items, for exception of trees. They will need to be reviewed by the claims adjuster.
You can not take too many photos or document too much. Save all receipts.

The Storm is coming. Prune your trees, secure loose items around your home, develope an emergency kit and plan, fill your vehicle with gas, get cash (if that still exist), stock up on foods and liquids which have a shelf life, stock on medications and basic first aid supplies, don’t run generators indoors, don’t forget the helpless and elderly, and please, please don’t leave your pets outside in the elements.
Make sure you have a clear understanding if you have separate wind and hail, named storm, or hurricane deductible, in particular if you have a % deductible.
Do not rush to file a claim if you have minor damage, in particular if you are not even going to exceed your deductible.

A little tip for the day.......
Fill up containers with water and place them in the freezer. Once frozen, the blocks if ice can help keep or prolong the coolness in your freezer and fridge in the event of a power outage.
