David Dodgin, M.D.
HIP & KNEE SPECIALIST
Dr. Dodgin specializes in hip and knee replacement and joint preservation surgery of the knee. Dr. Dodgin has a very large interest in computer navigation, 3D surgical planning and robotic replacement surgery of the hip and knee. He has helped developed national teaching programs for anterior hip replacement since 2004. Previous to his arrival in Austin he developed advanced joint replacement and computer navigation programs in Northern California and Central Illinois. Dr. Dodgin is board-certified and completed orthopedic training at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. During this training he gained exposure to advanced knee reconstruction techniques regarding arthroscopic ACL reconstruction and cartilage transplantation. He completed his Reconstructive Fellowship in Roanoke, Virginia and received his MD from University of California, San Diego (UCSD), and his bachelor's degree’s from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
