Coming from a family of medical and pharmacy professionals, Dr. Dong first achieved his doctorate in pharmacy before going on to medical school and specializing in hematology and oncology. In 1998, he was recruited by a community-based medical oncology practice. His attraction was simple. "Here you get good patient support and care, and a nurturing environment.
