Upon receiving his dental degree from the University of Maryland Dental School, Dr. Skopp then went on to receive a Post Graduate Certificate in Prosthodontics. He then attended the University of Pittsburgh Dental School, earning another Post Graduate Certification, this time in Oral Implantology. Finally, he graduated from the esteemed Misch Implant Institute, which required him to undergo an additional 300 hours of instructional and clinical training.
After finishing his schooling, Dr. Skopp then began his career by serving as a Dental Consultant for the Veterans Administration Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. It was at this point that the Governor of Maryland appointed him to the Governor’s Wellness Task Force, where Dr. Skopp was influential in helping to set up mobile dental facilities throughout Baltimore. From there, Dr. Skopp accepted a position as a Clinical Instructor for the University of Maryland Dental School’s Department of Prosthodontics, before going to also work as an Assistant Clinical Professor for MDS’ Department of Graduate Prosthodontics as well.
