This past Saturday the Dayspring Team in Great Falls perfectly demonstrated our core value of compassion.
We teamed up with members of the community to host a drive-by birthday party parade for Aiden Wagner who just turned 9 years old! Aiden has dealt with medical problems including a rare birth defect, a genetic disorder, autism, severe asthma and seizures, and has spent his last three birthdays in the hospital.
We wanted to make sure Aiden felt celebrated this year, especially after being in isolation for much of the pandemic.
We would also like to thank all of you who contributed in helping make this a birthday to remember for Aiden and his family!

As temperatures continue to drop across Montana, remember to keep an eye on your home’s water pipes to avoid a major disaster. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. This remains true when it comes to frozen pipes.
Follow the tips below to prevent your pipes from freezing, saving you time and money.
1. Pipes susceptible to freezing should be insulated with foam rubber sleeves or fiberglass insulation. Keep in mind that your hot water lines can freeze too. So be sure to insulate both cold and hot water pipes. In some extreme situations, such as those in which pipes are directly exposed to outdoor temperatures, it may be necessary to wrap pipes with grounded heating strips before insulating.
2. Open your faucets in the coldest areas of the house. Allowing a slight trickle of water to flow can help prevent your pipes from freezing.
3. Leave your cabinets slightly open allowing warm air from the rest of the home to better reach the pipes.
4. Finally, don't forget to close your crawl space vents in the winter season. When strong winds accompany the cold temperatures, these elements can cause pipes to freeze in your crawl space under your house.
