For a big city and state capital, Baton Rouge, or “Red Stick,” has a small-town feel. I’ve lived in this area all my life. We have two universities and a wonderful downtown, and there are also lots of fun food and music festivals here.
On the weekends, I love to go to the Saturday morning farmer’s market, cook and garden. My husband and I often bike around town, too. I’m a big LSU fan, and in the fall, we tailgate at the Fighting Tigers games. I have two grown boys, and the whole family often visits our lake house at Lake Hamilton in Arkansas. Supporting the community also is important to me, whether it’s the American Heart Association, the Baton Rouge Board of Realtors, my church or local school programs such as Project Graduation.
Our Allstate agency is located at the cross streets of Lobdell and Jefferson Highway. I’ve been with Allstate since 1991 and first worked as a claims adjuster. My mother was also an Allstate agent, and I bought her agency in 2007. Working in claims gave me a strong background in policy knowledge and customer service. It was a natural progression to join my mother and eventually take over the business.
I love my job and enjoy helping customers. Our agency team is warm, friendly and loyal. Some of our staff has been here for 20 years! We specialize in flood and homeowner’s insurance and enjoy helping customers understand their coverage options.
