Debby views her role in assisting buyers and sellers as more than a career – with both passion and a deep sense of responsibility it’s an opportunity to make a positive impact on other’s lives. She sees herself not as a sales person, but as a professional who guides her clients through the major life event of buying and/or selling a home. By always listening first to fully understand her clients' wants and needs; making sure they understand both the process and the significance of each decision they make and each document they sign; putting their best interests ahead of making a sale; and being available and responsive to them as quickly as possible. Whether it takes a day or a year to find that perfect property, she never pushes. Debby makes sure her clients have all the pertinent facts; and that they know their options. She never sugar-coats the truth, and always points out both the positive and negative in a potential decision. She knows the Big Island real estate market and its housing inventory well, she's skilled at creating an accurate market analysis, so her listings will sell for the highest price in the least amount of time. Her detailed marketing plan includes specialized photography, followed by extensive on-line exposure, open houses, timely notification to her clients, and more. Long distance clients appreciate that she is tech savvy and will use e-mail, text, photo, and video messaging to get them the information they want and need. Debby is a skillful negotiator – and also maintains good relationships with all the other professionals involved in a real estate transaction – a practice that leads to cooperation and trouble-free closings.​Prior to finding her calling as a REALTOR®️, Debby enjoyed an extremely successful 17 year medical career, working as a surgical tech in her home state of Colorado where she dedicated most of her adult life assisting others. Arriving in Hawaii along with her husband, two daughters, two dogs, two cats and all the family belongings, she knows what it takes to relocate to Hawaii from the mainland. Her goal is to carry that on to others whether moving across town or from 3,000 miles away. Debby knows how to accomplish it smoothly.
