Wow! Here's one that will surely catch your eye. Recently finished CF project with Trex Enhanced Naturals Foggy Wharf decking, Clam Shell border and breaker boards, and white Trex Signature railing. We added some of Eric's custom waterproof benches and a step down to a concrete pad with electricity for a private grilling area. Recessed Trex lighting and riser lights illuminate this one after the sun goes down. Wait, did you notice the 40' long pergola with 2 ceiling fans? We did that too. Recently finished, great color combination homeowners chose. Island Mist Trex Transcend decking with Clam Shell double border. White Trex Select railing with black aluminum spindles, and a 2x4 Island Mist drink ledge. Post cap lights and wedge lights highlight this deck, and cast an awesome look at night. Fascia, posts and beam wrapped in white Azek finish this one off. Thanks M&B for having us do your project!

Let's add a custom touch to one of our finished jobs. Our customer asked, "Can you build us a base for our swing?" You bet we can! Eric and Brandon did an awesome job of making this fit perfectly into the deck. Great idea from homeowners, awesome execution by the Deckworks crew.
Here's an awesome combo, Trex Transcend Rope Swing with Spiced Rum border, breakers, and fascia. Homeowner loved the idea of these colors, and the crew knocked this one out of the park! Angled pattern, with differing angles on the landings. Trex Rain Escapes was added to make the patio dry below. Trex Signature black aluminum railing with Vintage Lantern composite posts really takes the look of this deck to the next level. Great job DW crew, and thanks MV for allowing us to complete this project for you.
Jesse and Jason knocked this one out in a day and a half, a nice reface down in Cedar Rapids. Trex Enhanced Basics Sand Dune with a few sections of Trex Signature railing. Nice work guys.

What have the FFI crews been up to lately around town? Let's see...
Heres the follow up on the before and after we recently posted. Trex Havana Gold decking with white Azek fascia and risers. We used the same Azek to wrap the posts below. Homeowner chose the Trex Signature Rod Rail, and the final look couldn't be better. We added another Trex pergola to finish off the lower patio. Another job well done DW crew, thanks TP for allowing us to be a part of your project.

Getting caught up on a few of our most recent finished projects. For this one, we added a storage area under the deck and a Trex spiral staircase. We refaced the deck with Rocky Harbor decking, tons of white Azek trim, and Trex Signature railing. All the post wraps are covered in white Azek, including the custom bar-top wrap of the center post.

Here's one we finished up a few weeks ago, looks like it's been there since the house was built. Awesome fit. Trex Transcend Spiced Rum w Trex Signature black aluminum railing. Post wraps in Spiced Rum fascia was the ideal way to finish off the posts, and the look is perfect. Topped off the posts w ADI post caps, added a few gates, 2 x 4 Spiced Rum flat top ledge, ADA handrail, and lots of additional fascia to trim this one out. Thanks BD for having us do this project for you, and another great job DW crew.
Finished this one up last week, Trex Enhanced Foggy Wharf and Clam Shell border. Check out the railing, composite posts with Trex Signature railing and a Clam Shell drink ledge, awesome look. We framed this one using Trex Elevations steel framing due to it being so low to the ground, so it's incredibly strong and flat. Thanks T&J, glad we could get this one done for you.
Here's a custom project we finished last week in Dike. Homeowner had a Pinterest picture as a starting point, and the Deckworks crew did the rest. Trex Transcend Havana Gold decking with Transcend Lava Rock accents. Custom skirting, benches and planters. Black composite posts and black Trex Signature railing with downward facing wedge lighting. Previously there was no deck here, so we reframed this wall and installed a new double door. Finished product looks awesome! We had a great time working with you L.N., hope you enjoy that deck for years to come!

Recently, Fager Framing, Inc. deployed a Potain Igo T 85 A to erect a building complex in Cedar Falls, Iowa, replacing up to five pieces of equipment with one single crane.
Fager is finding the crane has helped workers not only increase productivity, but also plan the build better due to the crane’s reliability and readiness to operate.

Good news, bad news!
The bad news is that the Eastern Iowa Home Show has just been cancelled. This is based on occupancy load restrictions due to losing a fire exit during the current remodeling construction project.
The good news is that you can still find us at the Cedar Rapids Homebuilders Home Show April 16th-18th, at Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids. Come check out our new display and see what's new from Trex!
