I take pride in keeping myself abreast of the latest developments in psychotherapy and coaching. I have received training in and practice in a number of different psychotherapeutic modalities including: psychodynamic psychotherapies, interpersonal therapies, and mindfulness-based therapies. Using a variety of evidence-based approaches, depending on your needs, I collaborate with you in a therapy that is interactive, practical, and effective.
I specialize in working with adults dealing with mood disorders, addiction, past traumas, relationship difficulties (career/family), and transitions. I help couples re-establish intimacy by breaking down barriers that keep them apart. Working with teens, I focus on their psychological and behavioral issues. I support and help parents with understanding children’s developmental needs and addressing behavioral issues or parenting conflicts. I take great care in helping my clients feel safe and acquire a deeper understanding of themselves. Together we can develop new skills for stress management, heal past injuries, and build on your strengths and wisdom, making room in your life for peace and enjoyment.
