We are now open throughout the week same hours as before the pandemic, but due to COVID 19 all services now require an appointment. Please call ahead for all exams, eyewear selection, pickups, repairs, adjustments, etc.. All those entering the office will be screened for COVID 19 and they must wear a mask per CDC regulations. If you do not have a mask, one can be purchased from us. If you do not want to wear a mask you can be wait listed to be called back after the CDC lifts the mask requirement. Please follow CDC guidelines. If you are sick or have been exposed stay home and reschedule after at least 14 days, etc. Only the person with the appointment will be allowed to enter the office (unless they are a minor or require assistance and then a single guardian or attendant may also be admitted) so we can better maintain proper safe social distancing and building occupation requirements. Dr. Duane, Dr. Michelle and the Staff of Deeds Family Vision Care have made the decision to reduce our services to urgent/emergent eye care only consistent with the latest advice from the CDC and State of Ohio, beginning immediately and lasting at least through June 1st, 2020 at which time we will re-evaluate. What does this mean?
Although the physical office will be closed, there will be someone available for to help you place contact lens orders, schedule materials pick up by appointment only and schedule true medical eye health emergency appointments by phone, or answer any question you may have from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm Monday & Friday.
Dr. Deeds is still available by appointment only, for red eyes, sudden vision changes, injuries, and other urgent medical eye issues for patients. During the hours of 10:00 am – 2:00 pm Monday & Friday please call the office for assistance in triage scheduling. Outside of these hours, please call the office for further instructions. We are offering to extend Contact Lens prescriptions for up to 3 months for current patients. If you are a current patient and need contact lenses, please call the office to discuss or to place an order. For contact lens orders of 2 boxes or more we can direct ship if requested at the time of the order at no additional cost, otherwise contacts already shipped to the office will incur a $15 insured shipping charge if you prefer not to pick them up at our door.
If you have glasses or contacts ordered and ready for pick-up, you must call to schedule a dispensing appointment. We will bring them out to your car or send them to you by mail for $15 insured shipping.
All patients should be aware that prior to entering the office you will be screened per CDC Guidelines.
