Deer Trail Assisted Living
Deer Trail Assisted Living is looking for hard-working but fun-loving CNAs. We currently have two openings for evening shifts (2pm-10pm) and one opening on our night shift (10pm-6am). You must have a Wyoming CNA license that is active, enjoy spending time and building relationships with elders, be a great team player, and be willing to give a little more to this job than most. Apply through Facebook or in person at Deer Trail Assisted Living.

A little more Clowning Around at Deer Trail.

This was part of our celebration for “Clown Week” at Deer Trail Assisted Living. Lots of smiles, laughter and giggles. I apologize for not being able to post the pictures from the same activity that took place in Memory Care, but I had some technical problems with that group of pictures 😕. We sure had a lot of fun clowning around.
These are some pictures of a few Deer Trail Assisted Living Residents hiding some of our hand painted “307 Facebook” rocks at the park. We hope you have fun looking for them.

This is some additional fall wreath craft photos. It is so much fun to see the smiles on the Residents faces as they see their finished items. Some were so certain they were not capable of making a wreath and then so proud of how they turned out.

We had such a good time in Memory Care making fall wreaths. In addition to the pictures of the Residents with their finished projects you can see all our wreaths drying in the sunshine after we spayed them with No Burn. Spraying with a fire retardant is the final step to being able to follow the regulations but still let the Residents enjoy decorating their doors.
An update on the upcoming vaccine clinic.
Thanks, Jeff
Residents at Deer Trail Assisted Living would like to thank everyone who participated in the Sage Elementary School “Tree of Sharing”. There is a great deal of work that goes into coordinating this event and we are so grateful for the PTO at Sage Elementary School for all their hard work. The Residents wants and needs were all put on special ornaments on a tree in the foyer at the school. Then students, their families and community members had the opportunity to chose a name to purchase gifts for. The gifts were brought back to the school, where the PTO organized them and ensured there were gifts for each Resident. There were many, many smiles and even some tears from the Residents as they talked about the gifts they received.
Thank You so much ❤️❤️❤️
4th grade students from Walnut Elementary School and their teachers had a great idea. They wanted to do a giving tree for Residents at Deer Trail Assisted Living. After getting gift suggestions from the Residents, the students brought the gifts they purchased to school and wrapped them. Then the teachers delivered them to Deer Trail. Some of the Residents gift requests were items such as lotion, body wash, candy, cookies and treats.
We played a fun game with the wrapped gifts. Assisted Living Residents all sat in a great big circle and were each given a gift. The Residents then took turns rolling their dice. If the number rolled was even the gifts were all rotated to the left. If it was an odd number the gifts all rotated to the right. This proved to be a fun way to distribute the gifts before they were opened. The gifts for the Residents in Memory Care were handed out and then the Residents enjoyed opening up the gifts they were given. Residents expressed appreciation for all of these special gifts. 💕
I am soooo happy to be able to share with you a few more Resident Christmas pictures.
Happy Happy Birthday Lillian. We hope you are having a great day. Lillian is holding flowers sent to her from her family.
Tonight we enjoyed our 3rd ride to go see the Christmas Lights. Pictured is one of the beautifully decorated homes we were able to enjoy.
