Air filtration is an important tool in fighting the spread of viruses. This week DeKalb Mechanical is working on creating custom air handing unit filter racks. These racks contain higher MERV rating filters, which help fight the spread of viruses. Here are the before and after photos.

Had an issue last weekend with my furnace (fan) making an awful noise. Called Andy on Monday morning & despite my very vague description of the situation, he sent a technician right out. He found that my fan motor was dying as well as another part (caliper) was suspect. Replaced the caliper, ordered the fan. Tomorrow, at 7 am, on Christmas Eve, they will install the new motor. Not even a week from the time that I reported the problem. Fantastic service. Thanks to everyone involved!

I am very bad about posting, so my wife may kill me for posting this instead of a fun family outing, but I have got to share.
Check out this pedestal end table our shop guys made for me!
We had a monster 50# fan sheave replaced on a job and I mentioned in passing how it would be cool to turn it in to something. (I have dorky fan blades and saw blades all around my office so I irritate them all the time with comments like that...)
The guys put our new lazer cutter to work (can cut 1/2" metal with no burr; not bragging) and built me this custom welded piece with plexiglass top!
The guys are just awesome and once again DeKalb Mechanical knocks it out of the park!
