We are continuing to use telemedicine for sick visits and seeing only well visits in the office, with many precautions in place for your safety. The importance of well visits and staying current with immunizations can not be stressed enough. In a well-meaning attempt to protect kids from COVID-19, some parents are postponing well-child checkups, including appointments for vaccines and sports physicals. Keeping these scheduled visits can help kids stay healthy.
All of us at DPC are wishing our families a safe and healthy weekend, whether you social distance inside or outside! Remember to stay at least 6 feet apart, practice great handwashing and have loads of fun!
COVID 19 Update: Telemedicine is Here, and is working well! In the first 2 weeks we have done almost 300 virtual visits - ALL patients with fever and/or respiratory symptoms, many with rashes, allergies, pink eye, GI symptoms and behavioral concerns. If after a virtual visit a patient needs to be seen, it is done in the parking lot with appropriate PPE. The office remains a "well" office, open for well visits, immunizations and newborn care. We continue to see well visits in the office, offer telemedicine virtual visits throughout the day, Covid 19 testing outside when appropriate (scheduled after a telemedicine visit), and continue our DAILY WALK UP FLU CLINIC - 8:30 to 1:00 and 2:00 - 5:00. When you arrive in the parking lot make your "appointment" and check in on the portal- in and out, safe visit in our well waiting room. Big thanks to Emory for vaccinating all of our Docs. Can't wait for the vaccine to be available to all in 2021, hopefully including children 12 and up. We have been approved to be a vaccination site and will be ready to help when possible.

We will close Friday 12/11 at 1:00pm for our annual Holiday Party. Our hard working team deserves a well earned break, and this year to stay safe we will be entertaining ourselves.
