Kudos to Schuyler Brennan who was named to the 2020 PMEA All-State Wind Ensemble. Even though the All-State festival itself was cancelled, auditions were still conducted by PMEA digitally so that students who made Regions would know if they qualified for All-State (and the chance to continue on and audition for All-East / All-National). Not only did Schuyler make All-State, but she made the All-State Wind Ensemble, ranking her as the #1 flute player in all of Southeastern PA in the audition. She is one of only 3 flutes from the entire state of Pennsylvania to be named to the 1st Flute section in the All-State Wind Ensemble! #UMPROUD 💜💛

Three generations of the Kass family have studied music at Deluca Music Academy. Rick Kass Sr. studied trumpet with the late, great Bill Grande starting in the 60s. Rick Jr. followed in the 80s in his father's footsteps and also studied trumpet with Bill. Rick Jr.'s son Jamie has been studying guitar for over three years now with one of our guitar teachers, Alex Randall.
We want to give a very warm and heartfelt thanks this Thanksgiving to all of the students that have trusted us with their musical education and to all of the teachers that have helped Deluca Music Academy maintain such an excellent reputation and longevity in this ever-changing world.
