The last day of the month, here is our last "Gallery Ready" video about adhesives.
It is strongly recommended that you practice on a test piece. Do NOT use a new product on your prize-winning piece you are proud of! These products often have a learning curve and take time for artists to learn to use.
Although we won’t have the artists to meet today, we are open from 12-4 today for anyone who would like to check out this amazing selection of handmade unique items!

Today's Artist of the Day is Ann-Marie Oskolkoff!
From Ann-Marie: "This pandemic parallels closely what most with disabilities deal with everyday. Not being able to get out to do what you want, when you want, to see who you want without significant planning, if at all. Fears over what has happened and what's going to happen. Hours that turn into days, weeks and then months, until you realize life is never quite going to be the same. Ann-Marie set out this year with her artwork to try to remind everyone to prioritize the wins during the pandemic over the heavier stuff. That our community made sure people had masks available, people maintained access to goods and services that others could not do without, and that most health care workers continued bravely facing a significant risk to public health, is as remarkable as challenges disabled folks overcome each day. Quyana (thank you) to each of you for bringing your blessings into this world! I hope this years art adequately expresses the feelings of gratitude that I've felt during a difficult time."

From Jessa: "As an artist, I have a difficult time focusing on any one art style for a long period of time. Pain from my EDS or my various heart conditions also add several impediments for me as I try to create beauty despite the pain. I started with chainmail jewelry, but quickly learned to love many other styles, usually incorporating my deep love of the ocean into pieces."
