Best known for her positive attitude and chair-side manner, Leila Rad, DMD, is the general dentist at Dentique in Austin, Texas. With a keen understanding of the fears and anxiety many patients have when seeing a dentist, Dr. Rad works hard at developing a rapport with each of her patients to ease nerves and improve trust.
After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, Dr. Rad relocated to Boston, Massachusetts, to attend Boston University School of Dentistry, one of the best dental schools in the country, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine with honors.
Dr. Rad then returned to her home state of California and practiced general dentistry for two years, before moving to Austin, Texas, with her husband to open her private dental practice, Dentique.
Dedicated to her profession, Dr. Rad regularly attends continuing education courses to broaden her dental skills and provide more treatment options for her patients. Though capable of performing a wide range of cosmetic procedures, Dr. Rad primarily focuses on preventive dental care. She believes routine dental visits can prevent most chronic dental issues.
