Happy birthday Dr. Miller 🥳
In light of the evolving pandemic and strong suggestions by public health officials, we will continue to close our office for all routine dental care until April 30th or until further notice. We do not make this decision lightly, however our top priority is the health and well-being of our patients, families, staff and community.
If you have an appointment scheduled with us during this time, our office will be in touch to help reschedule your appointment.
In the case of emergency situations, Dr. Miller WILL be on call. If you need emergency dental care, please call our office and information will be available on reaching Dr. Miller or another on call Doctor should he be unavailable.
We will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves and the guidance from the county, state and the CDC. For now, we will determine on a weekly basis when it is appropriate for us to return to our normal business hours.
Again, please understand that we are making this decision with the health and well-being of our patients, our families, our team and our community in mind.
We thank you for your patience during this challenging time and wish all of you continued health.
In order to curtail the spread of the current pandemic, Dentistry in Paradise will be closed for the following 2 weeks, March 16th-27th. We will update our patients on office hours after 2 weeks. Dr. Miller will be available for emergency services as needed.
As healthcare providers, we at Dentistry in Paradise have been receiving a number of questions about the recent COVID-19 outbreak. I want to assure all of our patients, that your safety is our primary concern.
Our practice has always used universal precautions that exceed the recommendations of the CDC and OSHA. We ensure that all areas of patient treatment are thoroughly sterilized before and between each patient we see. Disposable barriers are placed and removed only prior to seeing each patient to prevent any contamination by airborne particles. In addition to our decontamination of treatment rooms, we have increased the disinfection of our waiting room by disinfecting door handles, countertops and any other common areas multiple times a day. All magazines have been removed from the waiting room as well as an effort to increase cleanliness.
As a team, we will continue to practice good hygiene by washing our hands in addition to using hand sanitizer before and after patient care. We will discontinue shaking hands with you but a smile and a wave means we are still happy to see you!
We would ask any patients that are feeling ill, specifically with a respiratory infection, notify us prior to your appointment, as all non-emergency care may be postponed. Also, if you have travelled internationally or have been in close contact with someone who has travelled internationally to PLEASE contact our office prior to your dental appointment.
As of now, we will continue to serve our patients with our continued high quality of care and compassion. We are closely monitoring the situation and will be notifying you if there are any changes. We wish you all the best in the very trying time.
