All formed out and ready to pour at Olinger. The crew will now add wire mesh reinforcement throughout, pour and finish.
Unfortunately we don't have the bandwidth to film or photograph the pour but we will definitely be back to update with finish photos and video.
Across town our other crew continues work at Olinger Mortuary. After yesterday's demolition and today's preparation, we should be ready to pour this at around 1:00 p.m. today.
Our crew should have this completely wrapped up and cleaned by tomorrow morning.

Sometimes it is the small jobs that are the most difficult. For this small walkway our crew have been tasked with the mission of forming very thin borders at 5 in with traditional concrete and then filling the center of the walkway with colored concrete. This will require two pours and two Short loads of concrete in order to complete. In these pictures, the crew is forming the borders, once this is completed and the concrete is set our crew will return with colored concrete to fill the walkway.

This customer wanted to have a border in the patio from the beginning and unfortunately our crew forgot to cut it. we have come back three times to try and create a border that will work for the customer and it just wasn't happening. In each instance the customer was going to settle and we CANNOT have that.
We know just how hard our customers work to pay for their brand new patio, driveway, garage floor or sidewalk. we wanted to deliver just exactly the vision they had to begin with.
The only thing to do now is tear out the entire patio for this customer and replace it just exactly as they had it in mind from the beginning. This was a mistake and we are fixing it today.

Progressing on this new outdoor kitchen area, we should have the complete patio colored and sealed and delivered by Friday this week. We expect to build the barbecue station with grill over the next week or so.

Been a long night, we definitely did not expect this drop and precipitation so early. Regardless, our crew stayed up through the night finishing the pour we started yesterday at 3:00 pm.
We should have blankets on by 5:30 am. We will return later this morning to make our release cuts and then our final clean of the project site.
Next step will be from our partners at Denver Commercial Property Services. They will be water proofing the entire 2nd floor of this parking structure.

Our crew replaced a section of this stamped concrete sidewalk, rejuvenated the remaining stamped concrete patio and walk and resurfaced a couple of sections of the concrete driveway.

new garage floor happening down in Castle pines today! Our crew started this morning demolishing this garage floor at around 8:00 a.m., it should be completely torn out by around noon. We will have this site completely cleaned up and ready to pour for Monday morning at 7:00 a.m. by the end of the day today.
Our goal at Denver Concrete Inc is to make our project as minimally intrusive as possible. This is typically a two-day project; however, with the start on Saturday we will have to take an extra day (Sunday) as compared to normal.
The new concrete driveway will be based with class 6 DOT road base and compacted, number 3 reinforcement bar will be installed every 2 ft on Center throughout and lifted 2 in so as to be placed in the middle of the new garage floor.

Our crew begins another new project in Arvada this morning. Our customer is looking to simply tear out and replace his existing concrete driveway and front walk.
Our crew is expected to have everything ready to pour at noon or close to that. We should have the driveway and walk completely torn our and removed inside the next hour and on to preparation for the new concrete driveway.

This new garage floor and driveway replaement was completed about 30 days ago. Yesterday our crew returned to pressure wash and seal the new concrete. It is important to protect driveways and garage floors from mag chloride and salt. Denver Concrete Inc recommends using a permeable sealant with new concrete driveways and garage floors.
This traditional concrete patio was completed in Highlands Ranch last week. Our crew finished the pour on Friday morning. We will be returning tomorrow to install a new breeze walkway along side the new garbage can pad. We are excited to get final photos on this project tomorrow.
This traditional concrete patio was finished with a 10" border and control joints every 6' On Center at 45 degrees to the house with a broom finish in opposing direction. Very clean project!

This "concrete countertop" was completed by a different contractor (not Denver Concrete Inc) for our customer about 6 months ago. About a 1/4" thick, the countertop was completely installed incorrectly. As a matter of fact, in our experience we have never seen a countertop poured like this.
We couldn't help but feel horrible for our customer... So we are going to fix it! We will be recreating this countertop correctly. Stay tuned for follow up pictures on this project. It is going to be a fun one!
