Football is back and Senior Quarterback JD Smith has grabbed another Derek Bell, State Farm Athlete of the Week award. While we hate that we couldn’t be with JD to personally congratulate him we are excited he is leading the Bobcats this season. Last week JD racked up 174 total yards on the ground and in the air. He was 8/11 passing with a 2-point conversion and had 1 rushing touchdown as well. Congratulations JD! Keep leading and keep pushing forward!
Senior Lauren Compton is our Derek Bell, State Farm Athlete of the Week! We had the chance to watch Lauren compete with her Lady Bobcat volleyball teammates in Blue Eye and she put on a dominating performance that was incredible to witness... She plays with a passion and energy that is easy to recognize and is a joy to watch. For the season she has already racked up 118 kills, 118 digs, 18 blocks and 9 aces!!! We want to congratulate Lauren on her amazing start and wish her well on the remainder of her senior season!
Athlete of the Week is BACK!!! We are excited to continue to award our amazing Bobcat athletes this season, albeit in a different fashion for the foreseeable future. We are opening with a bittersweet Derek Bell, State Farm Athlete of the Week. Senior Abby Thurman is our first recipient of the 2020-2021 school year. Unfortunately Abby has an injury that is going to sideline her for the remainder of the season but she started her senior season in amazing fashion. In the 4 games prior to her injury she accumulated 2 Aces, 3 Kills and had an incredible 62 Assists!!! Coach Kristin Lynn Smith Whetham and the Lady Bobcats are going to miss her but we wish Abby the best and want to congratulate her on her great Bobcat career!
Delivered pizzas to our local law enforcement officers and staff yesterday. We wanted to do something to say thank you and we figured pizza was a pretty good start!

Senior Caden Nickell is our Derek Bell, State Farm Athlete of the Week! Caden had a PR of 18:50 at the Berryville cross country meet last week and finished 8th overall. He also finished 12th at the Chili Pepper and lead the team with a time of 19:08. Another fun fact about Caden is that he has ran cross country since he was in 7th grade. In that time frame he has logged over 3000 miles of training and racing. That is basically the equivalent of running from New York to Los Angeles!!! 🏃🏻♂️Caden well done on a great cross country career!!!!
Her senior season could only be described as one of the best in Lady Bobcat history.... Senior Lauren Compton has once again added to her trophy case after another Derek Bell, State Farm Athlete of the Week award but that is just the beginning. Her accomplishments this season will forever go down in the record books of the Berryville High School Volleyball program. Lauren has been awarded All-State, All-Conference and she is an All-Star Nominee. Over their 13-6 season Lauren racked up an incredible 301 kills, 256 digs, 39 aces, and 18 blocks. Congratulations to Lauren, Coach Kristin Lynn Smith Whetham and the Lady Bobcats on a great season in the most challenging of times!
Exciting news coming November 1st!!!

Hi y’all! We did a group shot just now and I wanted to share. This is our last full day at Maverick Supply! It is bittersweet and we have a lot of customers coming by to wish us well. Wow. What a good run we have had. If you add up all the years of the five of us it is over 200 years experience in this business. I’m very proud to have been part of this team!
When your first start as a pitcher your freshman year ends in a NO-HITTER you earn the Derek Bell, State Farm Athlete of the Week. Freshman pitcher Chris Hipps recorded 13 Strike Outs on his way to a No-Hitter last week against Yellville. Chris also came in and recoded 3 more strikeouts and earned a Save in his second outing against Clinton. All in all for the week he totaled 16 strikeouts with a .000 Earned Run Average. What a start for this young man and the Baseball Bobcats.
When you have a couple State Champs its too hard to pick just one!!! Dylan Sperduto and Caleb Record are back as the Derek Bell, State Farm Athletes of the Week!
The Bobcats had a great showing the state meet and these two brought home All-State Honors and each won their weight class. Dylan wrestles and won the 138 weight class and Caleb Record won the 120 class. So proud of both of these guys as well as the rest of the Bobcats on a great season!!!
