Summer is a great time to get outside and enjoy the warm weather. However, the increased sun exposure can aggravate Melasma.
Melasma is a condition that causes the appearance of dark spots on the skin, particularly the face.
While the condition does not cause pain many people dislike the appearance of these patchy spots.
Here are our tips for managing Melasma in the summer.
1. Choose gentle skincare products that do not irritate the skin.
2. Use sunscreen vigilantly with an SPF of at least 30. Apply it every day, not only when you anticipate being out in the sun.
3. Consider extra sun protection,sunscreen alone may not offer sufficient protection.
- Stay in the shade as much as possible when outside.
- Wear a wide-brimmed hat and other protective clothing.

Reduce skin dryness and cracking by applying moisturizer on your hands every time you sanitize, keeping these next to each other will help you remember.
