Many people have inquired and expressed disappointment in the fact that we have decided not to open the gym and/or recreation room at this time.
Although we would love for things to be back to normal, the guidelines we have to follow make it difficult to do so.
In the gym, we could only have 1 person per 300 square feet, which would allow for only one person at a time. It is also required to be staffed, meaning it could only be open when the office is open. We could not allow more than a few people per day, and therefore have decided it is best to leave it closed until we can accommodate a larger group of tenants.
As far as the rec room goes, we are not open during the times the clubhouse would be used, so unfortunately we would not be able to monitor that occupancy and safety guidelines are being met.
I assure you as soon as we have fewer restrictions, we will safely open back up. Thank you for your patience.
PLAY SAFE
We have made the decision to reopen the playground. To help stop the spread of COVID-19, please practice social distancing and wash hands/use hand sanitizer frequently.
The clubhouse and the gym will remain closed until further notice.
What a smoky mess outside!
Stay inside and stay safe everyone.

FOOD & TOY DRIVE
Beginning December 1st, we will be accepting non-perishable food items and toy donations at the Desert View office. Items can be dropped off during business hours. To avoid any unnecessary contact, please leave items at the front door and ring the doorbell. All donations will be distributed to needy families within the Desert View Community prior to December 24th.
The phones at the office may be down at times today while we upgrade our phone and internet service. If you can’t reach us by phone we are still in the office.

Tapteal Elementary and William Wiley Elementary have returned to in-person learning. PLEASE USE EXTRA CAUTION when driving through the neighborhoods and around the schools. School day schedules have been modified so please pay attention to crossing guards and flashing yellow school zone lights. Remember, speeding tickets written in a school zone are double the monetary penalty and can not be waived, reduced or suspended.
