You’ll see the new look everywhere we’re out in public, like our website, Facebook, and JDRF events. This new brand will better reflect our patient focus, while we've been constantly growing, adapting, and evolving to meet the rising needs of our patients.
The new logo features a refined design of the logo’s core elements with 2 human forms (symbolizing both a patient and DES) reaching though to each other encased in a blood drop (symbolizing Diabetes).
This new look communicates the essence of who we are and more importantly who we want to be:

In 2015, I co-founded Beyond Type 1 specifically to tackle big problems in diabetes, and to change what it means to live with the disease. Today, Beyond Type 1 is launching GetInsulin.org -- a free resource for anyone in the US who needs insulin to find, understand, and access the options and programs that currently exist. GetInsulin.org offers people custom solutions based on their individual circumstances. It’s a tool for those who need help now.
We’ve built GetInsulin.org with many partners, including nationally renowned organizations such as the NAACP and Feeding America, along with leading diabetes organizations such as the American Diabetes Association and JDRF. Together, we must get the word out: rationing insulin is never safe. Anyone in the US who struggles to access insulin can now visit GetInsulin.org.
GetInsulin.org is an important tool, but the current system that allows people to slip through the cracks must also change. I’m proud of Beyond Type 1, our advocacy team, and Thom Scher for working so hard and with partners at all levels on insulin affordability. Ultimately, insulin access shouldn’t be a political issue, but rather a human rights issue.

Create a "JDRF Super Bowl Pool!" Print this pool grid and then follow these simple steps!
1. Sell each square (you determine the price: $5, $10 or even $25 per square).
2. When someone purchases a square, write their name in the square.
3. After all the squares are sold, randomly draw numbers for horizontal and vertical sides of your grid 0 – 9 (if you do not sell all the spots then write JDRF in the empty squares).
4. Share your completed grid with your participants so they know their number(s).
The winners are determined by the scores at the end of the 1st quarter, 2nd quarter, 3rd quarter, the FINAL score…or whatever you decide!
Choose the winner by looking at the LAST number in each team's score and then matching those numbers on the grid to see which square intersects with those two numbers.
Choose some fun, creative prizes...donate the rest to your Walk Team!
