Diana Buckholz, CMTA, MTNA & TMTA Member, fine tuned her natural musical talents during her studies at one of the most prestigious arts schools in the United States, Interlochen Arts Academy. While there, she studied various other genres of art, such as poetry and dance.
Diana has experience acting in theatrical and musical productions, commercial voice-over work and a long history of choir performance and competitions. She competed in Solo and Ensemble Music Festivals, where she found herself winning first place medals in Voice. Her Ensemble competition experience was gained through her past Marching Band and Symphony performances with the Trombone.
Diana is a graduate of the University of Michigan. Her hobbies outside of music include tending to her cats, yoga, and gardening.
Her success as a teacher can be attributed to the example and inspiration of her teachers. Diana's past vocal instructors include Jeffrey Norris and Elaine Rugila. Past choral instructors include Director David M. Ward and Director Matthew Hazelwood. Her past instrumental instructors include Dr. Michael Coonrod, Mrs. Emilie La Roux, Olga Tcherniak, and Director Robert McMillan. Diana continues to study music and has recently been studying piano under Professor Debbie Campanaro and voice under Professor Beverly Hoch.
The success of her students is owed to their involvement in recitals, locally sponsored music teacher association festivals, supportive parents and the practical feedback of their teacher.
