Dr. Hourigan has been providing state-of-the-art, patient-centered dental care in Chapel Hill for over 15 years. With over 30 years of professional experience, she delivers comprehensive care that is designed to stand the test of time.
Dr. Hourigan earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 1981. Before moving to North Carolina in 1998, she practiced in Nebraska and California. In California, Dr. Hourigan served as the first clinical director and dentist of Carrillo Community Dental Clinic, a non-profit clinic formed to serve underprivileged children.
She is a member of the American Dental Society, the North Carolina Dental Association, the John Hansel Multidisciplinary Study Club, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Hourigan has also completed many hours of continuing education in occlusion and TMJ disorders.
Outside of the office, Dr. Hourigan enjoys travel, music, and, of course, Nebraska football!
