IT’S OFFICIAL: We are excited to announce that Dignity Health and Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) have formed an affiliation. Dignity Health in Arizona and YRMC share a special piece of history dating back to a time before Arizona was even a state. In the 1890s, the Sisters of Mercy not only opened the first hospital in Phoenix - our own Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center - they also founded the very first hospital in Prescott! While the health care landscapes have drastically grown over time in both areas, the commitment to creating healthier communities has not wavered. This partnership allows our organizations to further the Sisters’ mission of providing compassionate and expert health care to all Arizonans. Get the full story here: https://dignityhlth.org/3oKc5Kp
