The AIDS Walk Long Beach is coming up on Sunday, November 15th! Beneficiaries include CARE, AIDS Food Store, Miller Memorial, and the Center. This year, due to the pandemic, the walk is going to be virtual - you can walk on your own time in your neighborhood or on one of the suggested routes below.

Today is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day. Trafficking in persons is a particular type of violence that is pervasive yet widely misunderstood. It affects every country, including the United States. In 2019 alone, there were 11,500 tips of human trafficking reported to the U.S. National Human Trafficking Hotline. It is a common misconception that victims are locked away or hidden, but they are often in plain sight such as at bars, casinos, and nail salons.
