DiMillo’s will not be open for lunch or dinner today, November 3rd due to covid testing. We hope to have all test results in today and be able to open our doors Wednesday, November 4th. Portland Maine History 1786 to Present January 12, 2016 at 3:29 PM · Rockland, ME · DiMillo's Lobster House at 121 Commercial Street, opened in 1965 by Anthony DiMillo. This was recently the location of the Silver House Tavern, and appears to be a home decor store today. DiMillo opened Anthony's at 69 Fore Street in 1954, moved to Center Street in 1960; he opened DiMillo's Floating Restaurant in 1982. He passed away in 1999 at the age of 66, having been in the restaurant business for 54 of those.
