Trying to get a prior authorization done for a patient’s insurance today and was told the wait time would be less than 1 minute...so far it’s been almost 32x’s longer than they said! 😄 Insurance can be handy in paying for some big expenses like this patient is facing, but boy am I glad that we don’t have to employ someone full time just to get prior authorizations pushed through insurance...it’s so much easier if we can just find affordable ways to keep the middle man out of it!! 💙💛
