To all those who have been so concerned and kind to us since the fire that turned our lives upside down, thank you.
Our plumber Sean Carney, Engler Electric and Disaster Services have done a great job and we were blessed to have them.
Hopefully in a couple of weeks the plastering will be done and then painting. We are very happy with our progress since May 21st. We thought it would be 4-6 months. 👍

Our office has been receiving multiple phone calls regarding the COVID-19 (Corona) virus. Questions have been ranging from what disinfecting services we offer to companies that are being proactive and currently pre-planning in an event our services are necessary in order for them to continue to facilitate business operations. Currently there are some very basic directives given by the CDC (Center For Disease Control) as to proper cleaning methods, required PPE etc. however no formal protocols have been written since much is still unknown, such as the length of time the virus remains viable on different surfaces, transmission of the virus from different surfaces etc. Disaster Services has developed a set of guidelines for disinfectant applications to cover all possible scenarios and we also have put in place specialized application equipment for total disinfecting that far exceeds the basic recommendations from the CDC. Fortunately, we have in our inventory the proper disinfectants and personal protective equipment that will enable us to provide this service to our clients when needed. I will be updating our page with a much more detailed article on our specialized equipment type, usage and EPA registered products that we will be using in the disinfecting process in the very near future. For now, clients are welcome to call our office with any further questions.

Disaster Services was a true blessing during my month long nightmare. I was pumping out 12 gallons of water per day and sleeping on the living room floor. When I called Disaster Services, Dean came over the next day and truly listened to my concerns and was ready to start. I will be forever thankful for all they did to help me. I loved the professional business-like manner and expertise which they displayed. There was constant communication during this whole time which put me at ease. I had multiple issues popping up during this period which made things frustrating for me and took more work for them. However, Dean with his experience and excellent work ethic was able to take care of all issues in a timely manner. I can honestly say, they went above and beyond to help. OMG Yes! Mom’s crawlspace had a major sewage backup. These men worked their butts off in a four foot high filthy mess in hazmat gear and had it cleared out in 3.5 hours. All the while letting me look to see what (very little) could be saved. I hope you never have to use them, but thank God they were there when we did need them.

I recently had a fire at my home which was obviously very upsetting. Dean arrived at my home the afternoon to take a look. He had his crew in there the next day and every day after for the next couple of weeks cleaning until everything possible was spotless. He was in constant communication with me to update me on what was going on, as well as giving me advice and guidance on what my next steps will be. He went above and beyond to save some pictures that were very important to me as well as took care to box up the cards and pictures my students had given me over the years so that I would always be able to have them. He has repeatedly gone above and beyond his job and tried to help me in any way possible. The crew that he has working for him were extremely nice guys as well. I would recommend to anyone to use Dean if, God forbid, you ever need to!
