Some sad news for ice cream fans, looks like the Ample Hills ice cream location for Disney Springs has been cancelled and the Boardwalk location will not be reopening.

For those who haven’t heard, Florida has banned alcohol consumption at all bars, effective immediately with no reports on when they will be able to open up again. At this time, restaurants are still able to serve alcohol (as long as it does not contribute to more than 50% of their sales) and bars can still serve alcohol to go. As more details become available, we will be sure to post here with updates.

For those planning to visit Disney Springs this weekend, please be aware that Uniqlo has decided to close in wake of the recent spike in Covid cases. They are an independent retailer, so they are well within their rights to decide to do this. As always, if you are planning to visit a specific store or restaurant, we encourage that you call them directly to confirm if they are open and what their hours are. If we hear of any further closures, we will keep all of you updated.
While Disney Springs has already mandated face masks for visitors, today Orange County Florida made it official and is requiring face masks to be worn in public spaces starting this weekend
