This week has been full of thick hair and huge color changes and I'm here for it. I love a good transformation! This lady had about a years grow out of blonde that wasn't quite the shade she wanted.

I have an amazing family that I love spending time with, especially my two sisters. I'm married to the love of my life and we are happy to be living life together with our dog Sadie. On the weekends, I am typically working at the salon, doing some volunteer event, creating jewelry, or enjoying some down time.

My name is Connie Rye and I am a Licensed Master Esthetician specializing in sugar hair removal and advanced skin care. A Pacific Northwest native, I’ve been working in Pierce County for more than 10 years, most recently within the Edgewood community at Divine Style Salon since February 2018.
I am a Mom, Wife and Grandma to 4 grandchildren, sadly only 1 lives here in Washington. Things I do in my spare time are gardening (mostly weeding since I have a green thumb for weeds) and my newest hobby of sewing. You may have seen some of my sewn crafts around the salon, twist headbands and facial cleansing cloths.
I can be very chatty about skincare, so if you ever have questions, I’m up for it! I’m a sucker for humor, especially the witty and sarcastic style. My clients and I can often be heard laughing it up during hair removal services. I believe it can take the sting out of the service.
My specialty within skincare is addressing mature skin and the changes that come with the aging process. Advanced skincare options offered are Micro and Nano Needling, dermaplaning, dermafiling (microdermabrasion without suction) and thermolysis for treating skin imperfections.
A large percentage of my work includes Natural Brow Design and wax, full body sugaring with a focus to brazilians.
Additional cosmetic services offered are eyelash and brow tinting and the super popular lash lifts, which enhance the length of your natural lashes and offer an alternative to lash extensions.
