Diminishing supply and mills with order files out into July has put a serious crunch on those needing
coverage. Prices jumped dramatically this week and may be the tone for the near future. We will see prices
up considerably as we end the week.
SOUTHERN YELLOW PINE/PRESSURE TREATED MARKET!!!
Buyers are struggling to find any coverage in the higher grades as most mills are tapped. Narrow widths of
#2 are available while wides are scarce. We should see prices up again as we close out the week.
PLYWOOD MARKET!!!
The plywood market is scary right now. Many mills are off the market and have order files well into July.
Coverage could be found out of distribution but a premium is attached. We will see prices up quite a bit on
Friday

Tight supplies and extended order files have mills moving prices higher again this week. Quicker
shipping loads could be found, but it came with an up charge. We should see prices higher at week’s
end.

could find and tried to cover all bases. We should see prices up again at the end of the week.
